Emailnesia

Damn! I'm either getting senile or I have way too many stupid little e-mail addresses hanging around. On the side over there (points to the right) I have that little "MyBlogLog" bar that shows recent readers... well, every once in a while when you clear your cache or your session expires, it's necessary to log back in, right?? So I spend the better part of an hour trying to figure out why my account is screwed up [This has happened more than once since they merged with Yahoo]. I'm sitting there thinking that they are out to get me. I get steamed and frustrated trying to get my login to go through.

Then I get mad and write to the "contact us" virtually cussing them out and telling them that their function is screwed up and the merging with Yahoo has ruined the site. I tell them if someone doesn't help me and get my account straight then they should promptly help me cancel my account. Ten minutes later, a "lightbulb" goes off in my foggy head and I decide (on a lark) that I will try my jcque9999 instead of my jcque999. It immediately logs me in and takes me directly to the little home page. I can't wait to get the reply from customer service... talk about feeling like an idiot.

You're still my hero!

I used to have a _ in my name. Some sites don't like you have user names with a _ in the name. I've been screwed up by that a time or two...

It's still best to blame "them" for everything. Trust me, They're assholes. ;)

"Hey, I can walk around the block anytime."........

Oh... I'm the same way. I do something... it doesn't work, and I'm all frustrated and start banging my head against the monitor, hitting the keyboard with my fists and screaming at the computer... only to realize I'm doing some tiny little thing wrong.

Then I have to go out and buy a new mouse, or whatever else I've destroyed during my rage :)
