Saturdays in Summer

Woke up wayyy too early, then we went to the grocery store and picked up a few essentials. Mostly low-carb since Richie is back on that kick again. After doing some dishes, and a few things around the house, I fell victim to quite a long nap. I guess I hadn't slept enough since I arose too early. Richie went to class, I played Wii a bit, then finished another load of dishes (yeah I had gotten quite behind this last week). Took a nice long soak too, which I am always up for. Had some supper and Richie's Brother and his wife came by after, so we watched a couple movies. Somewhere within the 2nd movie, sleep found me again. Ahhh Saturdays in the Summer heat, always looking for the cool on the other side of the pillow.

Sleeeeep

Today finds me way over my limit of sleepiness. I think it has to do with the fact that #1, I didn't do my morning workout, and #2, I've been kicking the diet drinks once again in favor of nothing but water. Therefore, I haven't had any caffeine in a while either, which is probably great for my system, but has left me with a nagging headache... I just want to take a big fat nap. Water is an essential key in weight loss, along with a healthy lifestyle (watching your food intake, and regular exercise). I'm sorry but there is just no shortcut. You can take supplements and pills, get surgery, or whatever else that assists you with your weight loss, but if you don't keep up a proper lifestyle, then you're not going to be fit, you'll be fat. I'm still way away from my goals, but I am trying. A nap would probably not help any at all. lol! Since we are discussing sleep, and water, I guess it's good to be reminded to go ahead and drink more of your water int...

Waking Up

We can wake up to many things... wake up to a good or bad morning (depending on our attitudes), wake up to a new idea, wake up to change, wake up to the person we have become... it's limitless. As far as the regular waking up, I have been going through a hard time the last few days. These full moons have been kicking my ass on a regular basis... I don't know why. I have returned to trying to take the Melatonin at night, for decent rest, and more so because I am trying to work on better dream recall and trying harder to have "Lucid Dreams" (you know, when you are dreaming, and you realize you are dreaming and can take control of the dream--very cool!). They happen, but very infrequent for me... Right now, this is my goal in the dream work. Night before last, this bombed as I dreamt that I was in bed with a very young Tom Cruise... This was very distressing for me because I have never liked Tom Cruise, not even when he was younger and less idiotic with his Scientology.....

Catching Some Zzzzz

No I can't say that the title means I actually am catching any "REAL" Z's such as my old flame, "Z" from my Butterflies, Zebras and Moonbeams story . Besides, I'z a married lady and seeing Z would be wrong of course, and then to think about it I'm fairly certain Z still hates my guts. But Life is what it is, winding roads and all that jazz. Ok, I digress... I was discussing catching some Zzzz (see what he does? He still distracts me to this day, and do you think that he ever even stops to think about me? I seriously doubt it. What's wrong with men that nothing ever affects them but it rips our world apart. There are always sickening little reminders everywhere too so that the memory can never completely go away, like "Z Market" signs, etc). Crap!! I digress again. Please forgive me [Damn that man!!!] Oh yes... catching some Zzzz. Well, if you remember Mr. J's episode from about a week back where he nearly died because of the Ambien ...
