Please Excuse Jackie

Dear Tink and WWC Family, Please excuse AJ for being absent for the Weekly Words Challenge this week. She had a terrible case of loose vowels. She will be back in next week and will make up this week's assignment as well. Sincerely, AJ's Higher Self Yes I missed yesterday, and of course I could do the 'late but Wednesday' version like I did last week, but I had higher hopes of my photos being more worthy. I only have 2 possible submissions and I really don't like either one of them for the keywords. So you guys will have to sit tight until next Tuesday, and not only do I promise not to be late, I am going to begin doing my WWC entries (like Jay does I think) on Monday nights and having them all shiny and ready for Tuesday. I really must pick myself up and get my @$$ in gear. This has been unacceptable. I know, I know... I have been through a great deal in the last year (years), but still I gotta keep moving and living and trying to make ends meet. Everyone is busy,...

You Can't Roller Skate In A Buffalo Herd

This week begins with me staring through the barrel of such a hot pistol of a week. I shudder to think on it really, and I know that I'll get through it somehow, but there's just too much on my plate for comfort. For starters, band practice not one night, or two but three whole nights this week just to CRAM and get ready for the gig on Saturday night. That means tons of extra miserable driving around for me, late nights, exhausting early mornings and then to top that off I am trying to finalize my tax junk so I can try to file asap. Yeah I know, I have been saying that for a while, I had trouble with some of the forms from my company, and I DID in fact get those all resolved, but It doesn't make things easier to file unfortunately this time. I may owe, and I want to double check that with a good source before sending it off so I can be sure. I know it will all work out, and I shouldn't sweat it, but I am just at the beginning of the trail and just need to take a deep br...

I'd Like To Buy A Vowel

I'm so tired today. Some hours just for me, time to myself, for myself... that's what I need. Everything is always for everybody else, I'm always running and doing and going, for everyone else; rarely me. It gets old. I won't go into it all, I'm just tired and need a break... and need some good fortune. It hasn't been optimal weather this week, nor has there been much time for motorcycle riding. I truly have been jonesing to ride. Over the past weekend, of course I spent both nights at Mom's, and of course didn't get a thing done at home that I needed to (maybe I never will get to again). But we rode our bikes down, even though it was freezing and foggy Saturday night. Even my good gloves don't keep me THAT warm in such temperatures. It was a nightmare, but at the same time it was kind of fun. Recently, Richie and I were contemplating how we just didn't do "spontaneous" stuff anymore. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily grin...
