Yeah, looks like I got lazy and took another break, but it truly was still quite a busy work week for me, there have been so many issues and deadlines I've been worrying over. Not that many people are missing me, I only have a handful of regulars sometimes, and not nearly as many comments as the rest it seems, or as I would like. But I guess I have to religiously get around to comment on alot more blogs to gain them myself... Sometimes it's just hard, so I will try not to beg or complain. My blog's not that ground breaking, and it's honestly not for everyone, so I have learned from past experiences. Tonight we gig... opening up for a band called "Virginia Grant", they know how to rock out. We will probably play for about an hour. I'm honestly not really that pumped up about the gig, and otherwise, I would feel like staying in the house and vegging out in front of some movies or something. It's time for a Saturday Matinee! Courtesy of yours truly, AJ! You may or may not have seen the movie "Love & A .45" (1994 I think), but is one of those classics for me and also my "B.F.F." Tamra. We used to love watching this. Things change, and we sometimes change our tastes but it is still a memory for us. :)) So break out the popcorn and enjoy... really, it's the full-length film. Saturday's cruising along in a very lazy way... so I'm just kind of chilling right now. However I thought I would show you a photo of my arm bruise. It's really pretty... haha ;) But it hurts. I hate bruises. I'm definitely going to start wearing my longer sleeves and probably get a nice riding jacket soon, and maybe even a full-faced helmet... We'll see. Why? Why does it take so long to recover after a trip? We got back in gear Monday and still I feel behind. However, I'm working on it. I am trying to make it around to visit each of you slowly but surely. Last night, we went Camping in my Mom's backyard. We were supposed to camp and cook out around the 'fire ring' in the back near the pond, but it didn't pan out that way. So I did not get to 'roast weenies' or make 'smores like I wanted. It's cool, since it is summer we still have plenty of time to sweat and have fun. I took pictures of the tent and where we had it in the back yard, I guess Mr. J and I are not so good at 'roughing it'. We took an extension cord and plugged in the laptop to watch movies... yeah we're pansies... lol! Anyway, it was still fun hearing the crickets and listening to the sounds of the beautiful night. As you can see, I had a hard time Saturday and was very late putting up a post. My apologies I had intended to do a vocal post with a podcast. I'll do it before Sunday is over with! I promise... It's those darn "Voices" in my head... they had so much else for me to to on Saturday... But my oh my you should hear what they are saying about you! lol j/k... Oh come on that was a little bit funny. Besides, 9/10 of the voices in my head have confirmed that I'm sane, so THERE!!! :O Ok, well this was a short nutty rant to make up for Saturday, it's a 'fill-in'. I'll be back later... Sometimes as I was saying yesterday Life can seem "out to get you". (If you read my long and worthy post-if not, GET READING!!). Yes, Life can seem so ironic or cruel... BUT--It's Officially the weekend-yeah! I'm happy about that, It takes the edge off. Still, it always feels like the weekend's fleeting before my very eyes... I hope to paint some this weekend, and I need to head down to Mom's house and check on them, and help with my niece's computer. Yesterday, our next-door neighbors' son (red head kid), came by to let us know he was intending to have a party tonight, and wanted to make sure it was o.k. if some people parked alongside the curve partly past our yard. He's always been a good kid, we said that's cool... We're noisy ourselves alot of the time. So I guess we'll see the block descended upon by some 16 year olds come nightfall. I've done it again, only I tried out A Different "Random Song Title Generator" . Hey this is fun. :) And I'm feeling a little nutty, kind of like my new pen holder (don't ask who the model was). Anyways, I'm popping in early today, and on a Saturday at that! We're getting a little freezing rain, which is small reward in the name of the snow I have been begging for all this time. I am on the shitlist of the gods. I realize that now. My Karma is evidently as hot, evil and raunchy as Satan's Taint. (Satan's Taint is also a name I made up once for my husband, Mr. J when trying to think of a cool "Punk Band Name" for him to use for a new punk project he wanted to start at the time, I thought it was rather clever. Hell, can you think of any single worse place to be than Satan's Taint??) Oh sorry, I digress. It's still Saturday in my mind, but technically it is already Sunday morning... my how the weekend doth blur together. So I am sitting here nibbling on Funyuns, watching "Are We Done Yet?" with Ice Cube and cuddling with my vereh own Kitteh (which is Yas-speak for... Kitteh). While perusing comments for addictive-like-crack MySpace, I discovered this one, which is cute and funny. It's from a website called Can I Has Cheezburger? . I know, a little goofy but it caught my eye. I had a nice time earlier, I got to take my Mommy shopping. I drove down, picked her up and we went to Burlington Coat Factory and she bought a new suit, and I picked up a pair of jeans and a couple of pieces for work attire. Then we went to a place to pick up some fabric for Mom (she sews, alot... and quilts). Went home, had coffee and visited a while. Wondering where Mr. J is??
