Deep In The Forrest

I know I have really taken a dive lately in the way of my blogging, but I seriously have had too much going on in all areas of my life to think straight, or think of much to blog about, or much that I can blog about too. No matter, I am still around and I am not quitting, just having to collect thoughts and do some soul searching, rejuvenate and regroup I guess. No fear, you can't keep Aunt Jackie down for long... just fun low on fuel every once in a while. So this is Labor Day weekend, and it's passing off faster than it was supposed to. There is no "True Blood" this weekend, so my B.F.F., Tamra and I are not happy about that. :) Means we don't get to have our usual Day-after True Blood discussions, plus when it returns next week for the finale, we will be disappointed it's over and have to wait until next summer to get the next season. Well, Happy Labor Day everybody... I'm not going to make a big theme out of it or anything. It's the first day of the new month... September. If you're reading this then I gather you made it too. Also, a big Thank You to everyone who joined me in wishing Daddy a Happy Birthday! He is doing alright, and says he enjoyed his weekend. I'm just bored to death so I am going to take my camera out and see what I can see, maybe I'll catch a good shot or two. Irritation is taking over me as I have had one thing after the other in the last few minutes, just small irritations, but still they build. Not the least of which is the amount of times a cashier has conveniently "forgotten" to take the 55c Off Now coupon off my particular items, and cheated me out of another dime. I found 3 items this weekend alone with the coupon sitting there untouched. (Yes, I should notice them too, but they should definitely help us). I am certain it is a conspiracy. The labor after Labor Day is probably the most bitter dose, especially when you've taken a vacation from the entire rat race for 5 days. I've not been around really throughout my days off, as I elected to take a break from reality, blogging and anything serious for the whole duration of my time off. I needed it, seriously. I'm not going to apologize then, for my absence at any of the blogs, and if I have missed anything important... I had to get away... I'm back. I will do my best to catch up to you all soon. Hopefully, everyone had a good weekend. Those of us who were celebrating Labor Day, I trust you enjoyed a nice time whether you were cooking out, taking a trip somewhere fun, or just hiding out, like myself.
