Full Moon tonight... It's called the Pink Moon !! Yayy! But is it really pink? Well, not exactly. There are reasons we call it the Pink Moon though, read the above link, or also This Article Still, very cool though. I always love all Full Moons. We have several interesting holidays that fall on April 11th, which I have included below just for fun information for you guys, well, whoever is actually out there listening to me =) The one that I really suppose I have the most interest in is "Eight Track Tape Day", as I remember being little and my sisters, who were all grown-ups pretty much already, they actually had some 8 Tracks. So I remember finding something I could play them on, and being enthralled over these weird cartridges, but as a music lover, I still loved it all. As long as I had music, I was happy. This was, in fact, thanks to my Mother who reportedly had music playing even when I was an infant in my crib. There was never a moment growing up that I remember...

Tuesday's not quite gone, and what is a Tuesday without our Weekly Words Challenge (WWC) hosted by the fabulous female, Tink of Pickled Beef? This week's words are "Male" and "Female". I had a difficult time making this one interesting... so well, I didn't go overboard. It's a short one for me, but at least I struggled and tried to participate. It's Weekly Words Challenge (WWC) day again... My it rolls around fast! As always, it is hosted by Everyone's favorite host, Tink . Today's words are "Salty" and "Sour". I took photos around town, but I just couldn't seem to illustrate this in a mere photo. I mean I could've just gone and taken pictures of nuts, and lemon drops and other foods, but it was just too easy. I don't like the simplest answer. Therefore, I give you a Photoshop creation that I did of Mr. J. Ok, now the story behind this is, I was discussing some 'band-related' junk, and mentioned how expensive things are and how we are all struggling through our finances and rents, etc, and can't afford to spend much on mixing down the CD. We all have highs and lows, right? Every day is a winding road... as Sheryl Crow might say. A good Tuesday to everyone! Pleased to say it is photo time again, as it is time for the "Weekly Words Challenge" brought to us as always by the lovely and charismatic Tink of Pickled Beef ! This week's words, as stated yesterday are "Temporary" and "Permanent". I am revisiting some photos that I have taken recently but may or may not have used before. No slide show on this one, but please stay after the WWC because I am bringing you a "Special Slide Show Presentation". It's a funny--you might have seen them, if not, it is sure to give you a laugh. This week is a little sad for the WWC, due to a death in Tink's fiancee's family . Tink and Hoop: My thoughts are with you and yours during this difficult time. I'm so sorry to hear about Hoop's brother, my sincere condolences, and may you and your family have peace and understanding at this time. Wow. I think it must've been something over the weekend that I did, but I slightly twisted and pulled out my lower back. I've been in pain, worked from home yesterday but I'm trying... really trying today. :) I haven't really been able to conjure up any cool new photos for this week's WWC theme of "Peekaboo" and "Dirty" . Ever wonder why in the world morning has to come so friggin early? I do... did this morning. I lay there comfy in my bed as long as I possibly could... and finally just had to peel myself out of the warm comfort into cold, cruel reality. Then I had to make oatmeal (as not to neglect Mr. J's breakfast needs, and my own too of course). Being in such a rush, I ate my oatmeal while soaking in my warm bath water, and it crossed my mind once again... "This, soaking in this warm soapy water, eating my oatmeal, is the MOST comfortable I am going to feel all day!" Anyone else?? Or is it just me? I know eating my oatmeal in the bathtub sounds way crazy, but I was really trying to save some time being in a rush. In the end, it did not matter, I was actually later than normal. (sigh). Oh well. Good Day All! And a Happy Earth Day Too. It's not a bad one here in the Muddy River City. I noticed that that down by Tom Lee Park, they are starting the set-up for our soon-to-be Memphis In May Festival , this year celebrating the country of "Turkey". The yearly event kicks off with the Beale Street Music Festival . Looks like an interesting line-up this year... I might have to go! If you're planning a trip sometime soon, May is an eventful month to try it out. Other than that, I had salad for lunch, trying to make it through the day and get my WWC stuff together... yeah! Supposed to do more vocal recording tonight, and that's really all I have to say today. Just not a very interesting gal today. I would go into my dreams the last couple of days, they've been vivid and very strange, but really not interesting enough to detail.
