Desktop Madness! Look at mine and others!!Well, I'll be a Monkey's Uncle... Or Aunt really-I was tagged by the blogging, golfing dynamo, Speedcat Hollydale who was tagged by Rolando from R playground. Speedcat is one of my newest bloglinks. He runs an interesting blog chocked full of humor and whackiness... and as you know, Auntie Jackie LOVES Whacky! So pop in and say hello to Speedo if you have time, he's a cool cat.

What’s on your desktop? (here's mine)
My desktop probably reflects me, and my unorganized personality. It has a plethora of software shortcuts, and temporary images on it that I save just long enough to use, and I either reorganize them later into another folder, or delete them if I have no more use for them. I'm on Windows XP, this is by the way my laptop desktop too-I have 2 PCs in the back too (courtesy Mr. J's mad skillz). I'm mortified by the archaic stuff Speedycat said about HIS desktop, seems he needs a nudge in the direction of fresh and cutting edge technology, but I'm usually pretty up there with the latest junk.
Furthermore, you all know how much I love this man... He is a big inspiration for me in my music and writing too, so I always have to have something "Jimi" around wherever I go... When we are at band practice, sometimes the guys look at me like I'm crazy because I might "converse" with his photo here and there... lol!! ;)

Your turn guys. Pretty please tag 5 people and all of you have to take a snap shot of your desktop as it is. No house cleaning before hand (I gave you an exact current screenshot, no editing, ugly as it was!).

My Desktop Free View Instruction:
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
You can do a screen capture by: [1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). [2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V). [3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.
For MAC users: Press [ Apple] [ Ctrl ] [ Shift ] and [ 3 ]
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

Ubermoth, cool sounding boots though! I think it was interesting looking at peoples' desktops.
Speedycat, np! Cool, at least it was a different type of tag than the normal ones.
My son has recently switched onto him realising what a genius he was.
So now - most influencial guitarist of all time? Hendrix? Arguably - but I'm still drawn to Tarega or maybe Sor who defined the modern guitar and kept it alive way before Leo started bolting bit of wood together for Jimi.
