WWC - Urban and Country
This week's WWC was themed with the words "Urban" and "Country". Now, Urban is defined as "related to cities", and of course Country can either be a country or it can be related to living along the countryside.
For my submission, I couldn't resist sharing this unusual photo. It was taken right in the middle of Downtown Memphis, in a rather run-down looking area, amongst the bricks and the metal of the old shop, I spotted a gorgeous huge Sunflower flourishing there (such a refreshing burst of color)... which I normally only see out in a big field in the middle of the country... So once again, I share with you both theme words in one photo. However, I am sharing all 3 shots of this flower so you can get a better idea how it was located... Enjoy!
Once again, if you would like to participate with Jay, and myself then go over to Pickled Beef and check it out!

Love the sunflower! Great pictures!
Tink, Thanks! It is very odd... hope you enjoyed.
Dinners, :( Aww poor sunflower... he's a good guy!
Angela, I hope not!! I thought it was a beauty, and did not intend to give nightmares. :D
I like what angelas said about the nightmares, I can only imagine what flower nightmares would bring...????
Good work Jackie...
Later...
Then there was the row of sunflowers which morphed unexpectedly into a 9-piece New Orleans funk ensemble right after I drank the Alien Turdz tea.
Heh. Yeaya~! That's when it's awesome dudes.
But I like the Memphis sunflower better. What can I say? I am a natural born sucker for the Underdog. For the flower that's not supposed to grow; the writer who's not supposed to Hit Big; the horse who is not supposed to win.
Corky! Participate, yes it's much fun! Can't wait to see your entries!
Mike! That's the coolest way I've thought of it... you definitely have a gift of expression! Cool...
