Happy Anniversary, Nevermind

Since Cappuccino Kid's post about Nirvana's "Nevermind" album's 15th anniversary, I was reminded of the Nirvana baby, Spencer Elden who's like 15 now. The funny thing is, well I guess it's not that funny really, he's not even a fan of Nirvana. This makes us all feel pretty old. It would be funny if he started dating Cobain's daughter... Just a thought. Here he is then and now.

In honor of the anniversary of the album, here are 33 Things you need to know about Nirvana

Have a great day... Monday looms in front of us...

Well,
I was a mom on a mission during this time and trying to hang on to my own youth through the bands and musical artists of the 60's and 70's. When I think of Nirvana, the only thing that sticks with me is how freaked out my friends, with older kids, were who were listening to them (?)or him (?)

Cappy: L7!! One of my friend, Tamra and my favs! Oh we had some great times listening to L7... Do you remember their appearance on a movie called 'Serial Mom'? Great band... Nirvana sometimes makes me sad-of course my husband loves them too so I have bought him alot of Nirvana 'albums' :)
Laugh: I know where you're coming from though, and I guess our only peace can come from the fact that this happens to everyone. So even this kid will get to be sad in about 10-12 years when his favorite music gets "old" :P
