Letters for April

NaBloPoMo April 2008Today is April 1st, commonly known as April Fool's Day. April 2008 I will once again be joining the ranks over at NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month site) boasting a "Post Per Day" in April. (Coincidentally, it's also Tuesday, which is our WWC with Tink! However, I will be doing the WWC a bit later today, sorry.)

The April 2008 NaBloPoMo "Theme", is "Letters". I guess this can mean letters in any form we could interpret... which is left up to the creativity of each individual blogger... They could be ways of illustrating actual letters such as "A B C", or letters we write to people for whatever reason, it will be interesting to see how everyone participating will interpret. If you are interested in joining me, and posting every day in April, then click any of the NaBloPoMo links I have in this post or the sidebar, and check it out.

My beautiful Mother's birthday is April 2nd (tomorrow). But she always said that she felt like she was really born on April Fool's Day and nobody ever told her. This went along with a bunch of feelings she had as a child through adulthood about not belonging in her family, and that something was "odd", she didn't really believe she was born into it or something. Could've been just her feeling the odd one out, or she could've been right. I never felt like she was treated that great by my grandmother (her "Mom"), and for that reason I never could get close to that grandmother, the only grandmother I had alive... It was a shame I guess. But I always thought Mom went head over heels working to help her family and Mother and never got any proper thanks. All that's in the past now. But tomorrow, I'll do a special post for Mom's birthday I'm sure.

Until then, to begin my "April Letters" theme, I will start that out with a love letter to my blog family.

Dear Forrest Readers,

I want you to know that I think of you daily, and always make a silent little wish that you will have a fantastic day. You don't know how much your visits mean to me, and the kind words that sometimes lift me out of a slump.

Thank you for the smiles and laughter, and thoughtfulness. Thanks as well to the sarcasm and meanness for those of you who enjoy bringing that to the table.

You all make blogging a thing of pleasure, and make my words worth sharing.

Love Always,

Aunt Jackie :)

Awww ... a love letter from Jaquelicious. I know you claim that it's to all your readers, but I'm gonna pretend it's mostly for me. I live in a fantasy world like that. ;-)
