Heavy and Light (WWC)

Whewwww!! I tell ya, a little vacation does a lot of good sometimes, even if it is just a few days. I'm around, but playing catch up and trying to get things back to normal at the House of AJ. It's not an easy task to get back in the swing. The slight vacation from the blogging left me refreshed.

But now I'm back!

Hot Springs was great fun, we all got along well... better than expected, I didn't have to strangle anyone, the kids had a good time. I actually got to have my Thermal Mineral bath and Massage this time, and the weather held out nicely. I will catch you all up on the events of the weekend between now and Tomorrow or so. I'll let you in on all the cool details... if you promise to come back and visit me! :) Don't be such a stranger y'all!

Moving along, let's get to this week's Weekly Words Challenge (WWC), brought to us by the ever-rockin Tink of Pickled Beef. This week's words are "Heavy" and "Light". I almost took the easy way out and put up a simple self portrait of ME which would've taken care of the Heavy and the Light all in one fell swoop... but I decided not to be sarcastic and furthermore 'mean to myself'. ;)

Here we go, enjoy the show... check back later for all the Hot details from our trip (as well as EVEN MORE PHOTOS!!)

You're back! Yay!

That photo of Rich really is cool! I love the burned edges. The koi shot is neat and I LOVE the little mohawk.

Great stuff. I particularly like "I saw the Light" (great caption) the koi, and that cool light fixture from the Spaghetti Warehouse. I wonder if that's like the Spaghetti Factory we had in LA...ours had a trolley car in the middle of the room, and was decorated like a Victorian bordello, with lots of red and purple velvet and fringe...not tasteful, but very tasty ; )

Welcome back babe!

I love the "Last Bits of Daylight" pic. The sun setting over the lake (Lake Hamilton??) and the bridge is beautiful!

You really played with light on this one, and I liked the titles you chose for your pics. Gotta love trains!

I think I've been to both a Spaghetti Warehouse and a Spaghetti Factory.
Chatty, they had (have?) one in Seattle - a fave place to go when we were kids. Spumoni ice cream, not so much. We ate once in the trolley car and once in the booth that looked like a bed.
Great photo show Jackie ... but why is milk light, and cow heavy??? Did you mean the color? I am so confused! (smile)

Hello from Minnesota!!
