Much Ado About Monday

Lots of upset people today with the outcome of the 'Superbowl', and the commercials and seemingly the entertainment too. To each his own. I didn't have much of a vested interest in the teams this year. I liked the Steelers last year, but being around Memphis, we've been waiting for the Titans to make a comeback for a while. Doesn't seem like it's in the cards.

At any rate, today it was back to the grind. Mondays always get me down (not Rainy Days though, because I love rain). Since we had a snow day Friday it felt like a holiday so that kind of threw me off... wasn't ready to get back to it I guess, although I feel like hiding my head.

I don't have any good stories really today; I hope to bring one in soon. I think I'll go ahead and tell the tale of the day I took my niece, Kristie along with my college roommate Tracy to the Mall and we had a strange encounter with what Kristie is convinced was a 'Modern-Day Ted Bundy' character who she says was going to use me for a "skin dress". Maybe everyone will enjoy a good serial killer tale, eh?

For today, since i'm running on empty, I'll just leave you with some mind numbing trivia.

It's February 5 which is the 36th day of the year in the Gregorian Calendar. There are 329 days remaining (330 in leap years). Can you believe we've gone through 36 days already???
Also, February is Black History Month

A Glance Back to Today in History (I know, "yawn")...
And Finally, if today is your birthday, then Kudos! You share a birthday with these fellow mortals:

I thought the Super Bowl was good, but I also really like the Colts. I hate the first day of the week too, but for me it's Sunday. I start my work week on Sunday nights at 11:00 pm.
