Pine and Contribute (WWC)

Guys, this is a cop-out of sorts, but I promise I am going to try getting back into the game next week.

Tink's Weekly Words Challenge words for this week are "Pine" and "Contribute". I will do a little demonstration with pictures, but these are not my pictures, just some I found to 'contribute' to the cause... I am participating but not really participating.

Next week I will really try... I swear.

Anyways, here we go.

I PINE FOR THE GOOD OL' DAYS...

AND THAT TENDS TO CONTRIBUTE TO MY MELANCHOLY.
ENUFF SAID.

I bet Melancholy Town would be a pretty depressing place to visit.

Gosh, don't you just remember the days when computer game characters were just a bunch of pixels and you pretty much just had to take it for granted that one was a plumber, one a mushroom guy etc? These days with all the high-res, 3D engines you can almost tell whether or not a character was out drinking the night before!!!!

Bring back Chuckie Egg (on BBC Micro)...

Wait, it looks like someone did! Here!

I have that game on my wii, it does bring back fond memories and a bit of melancholy for loss of youth.

I hope things level off for you :) Hug.

So that's how you spell melancholy! ... sounds like a fruit AND a vegetable to me. Hmmm -not going there.

Yeah, I've been flagging badly on the WWC front lately, myself. The holidays, coupled with a class I was taking. At least, those are my excuses, and I'm sticking to them! I love your pictures - ah, the good old days, and a town that never smiles - cool stuff!
But, I really dropped by to wish you a wonderful holiday season and lots of holiday cheer!
