Day's Of Our Lives

I had a quick moment at the end of a busy work afternoon to stop and toss together a blurb or two. So, here I am.

Today has been another rainy day in the River City, and while I enjoy rain, I am pretty ready for some nice weather so I can of course do some motorcycle cruising. I get antsy if I go too long without a ride. I cranked Jimi the other day just to test and juice the battery.

All was well with Jimi.

T.V. is in transition right now, and although I don't feel that I "overwatch" television, I do enjoy a few shows. My True Blood season 2 has ended. The finale was OK with me, the major part happened about half way through, so it left for some downtime in which we weren't sure what would happen, but it was still quite good. I enjoyed... the cliffhanger was mostly to be expected, but I was left with an overall feeling of satisfaction. We have books to tide us over until the new season anyroad.

With the finales of some shows, other shows are bringin in their fall season, so there is not really a gap. I love the show "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" on FX- It has Danny DeVito in it along with a cast of funny characters. This is one of my favorite comedies, but it is for those with a special brand of sick humor I think. Check it out.

Richie (Mr. J) is excited about the new season of "The Ultimate Fighter" since he is a HUGE UFC fanatic... and I like to watch them too from time-to-time with him. Some of the fighters are quite good. Other than that, let's see... um- Oh yeah the new season of "Sons of Anarchy" is on, and I am enjoying that. I believe Californication comes on shortly too and I got addicted to that last season... So there's plenty to do, see and watch.

These things along with normal workload and daily obligations should keep my busy this fall and winter. I sure hope we have a nice cold winter with a good deal of snow, that would be a refreshing change in these parts.

Before I go, have a laugh at me in my band geek days. Here is a photo of our High School Drumline. I am the Band Nerd on the far right. Go ahead, giggle it up.

"... and this one time... at band camp..."

That's about all I have to say, now I will leave you all to it... Enjoy your Hump Day Evening. Love, AJ

Sons of Anarchy is off to a great start for season 2. Both episodes have been very intense. It's a great show.
