Search Deep Within

Image
Jaxxx has got a brand new search widget! I got so sick of the other one, I would go and run 'test searches' only to see that it would not pull up an article when I KNOW for a FACT that I have a post with those particular search terms. So I did some surfing around, and I found http://www.widgetbox.com , and I put up the new and improved search box that you will see if you look on the Right side just beneath my profile container. AJ's Cool New Search Widget There are so many things you might have missed, and so much entertaining information that I have brought, that you, my honored readers do not deserve to miss a thing!! So, maybe you've searched the Forrest before, maybe you have not, but do yourself a favor... Try it out! Search yourself, if I have linked you, you'll be there. Search for dirty stuff, see what kind of debauchery you might have missed out on... This widget works wonders!! Try it, like it? Get one for yourself!

Rodney The Undergraduate

Image
My niece, Kristie was always very independent. Just 2 years my junior (due to the fact that I was a delayed blessing in my family and my sisters are all significantly older than me), she, Stacey and I grew up more like Sisters ourselves than Aunt and nieces. She went off to the Math and Science high school after tenth grade, attended Mississippi State and then headed off into the wild blue yonder (which happened to be Arizona). It was more independent and brave than the rest of us really, who stayed pretty close to home. When she was going to college in Arizona, she would tell us about the people she met, and went to school with, and those that she became more familiar with got 'nicknames' kind of like "Rodney the Undergraduate" (as by this time she was in grad school). When she told the latest news and such, this is how we came to know her associates. As you can see, Rodney the Undergraduate eventually became Rodney Man Candy, the Boyfriend, and then finally Rodney t...

Guruvaar

Happy Guruvaar , That's to say it is "Fifth Day" (if you begin your count on Sunday)... a.k.a. sometimes as "Thursday". :) So TGIAF (that's Thank God it's Almost Friday!) I wore the most annoying Sandals this morning... the kind that "slip on", and are made of a forming, corky-squishy material and I've worn long enough to get a footprint set... so sometimes, when I walk I get those "Foot Farts". Foot farts are made when you get an air pocket under your feet in certain types of shoes, mainly sandals and it makes a sound very similar to when you do Armpit Farts . It only happens on my right foot, however. But, it can be very embarrassing when the office is unusually quiet, and it always is... that is, when you have the foot farts . For some reason, things have been vanishing on me lately. Does this ever happen to anyone else? Just like socks in the dryer... You swear up and down there is no logical way that said object or possessi...

Dear Diary...

It's time for bed, but I thought I would say a few words. I'm ready for some big, positive changes. I've been way too bored lately. I want to get out there and experience stuff again and I want to photograph and paint the whole world. I want to make it big just to get a tour bus and go everywhere and do nothing but get ready for a gig, play with my camera and play video games from city to city. I want to write my lyrics and my stories and my poetry, and leave my talent and creativity in a time-capsule for someone to find hundreds of years from now... and I want them to see it or read it and be totally blown away... I will doubtfully leave a genetic mark on this world, so it would be cool to leave a loud, colorful one... Something, anything... Isn't that what we all want? To be remembered in some form? It's so very easy to live here for this fleeting moment and then just be washed away with the next rainstorm. Where is that stupid time machine I ordered (I know) sev...

Rare Dreams, Common Realities

Image
Last night, I had a dream where I was photographing a Peacock... The peacock looked happy about being photographed, and I was waiting for him to put on a "show" so I could capture it on film. This was about all I remember from last night's dreaming, but I had to look it up and see what the glorious peacock symbolized... this is what I found: Peacock: To see a peacock in your dream, represents spring, birth, and new growth. It is a good omen, signaling prestige, much success and contentment with your career. It may also be telling of your confidence and even arrogance over your success. Therefore it was a good thing... and I do love peacocks so that was kind of cool... Peacocks are rare in these parts, but I have been around them because my Mom always collects odd birds such as the peacock and Guinea fowl. Speaking of rare, that's one of the words for today's WWC (Weekly Words Challenge, brought to us by the lovely Tink, of Pickled Beef .) I had a hard tim...
