Time For A Cool Change
This has been a really long, hot summer to me... I read someone's status earlier that stated they had complained about the heat in their neck of the woods, and they thanked Mississippi for reminding them of what heat really was. I concur. So, no I haven't felt a lot of relief from these insane temperatures, and it has had the effect on me of making me not want to do much of anything really. I've not even felt like blogging the last few days. I honestly don't feel like it now, I just wanted to say a few words.
Today, my main objective and accomplishment was getting over a raging headache, so I wasn't feeling well for most of the day. I finally took enough Advil and a hot mineral bath, and ate a bit of supper and feel kind of human again.
In short, I can't wait for fall... late this afternoon when I stepped outside it actually felt pleasant and not like I was sitting between Satan's legs.
